1. Scope, publisher, and roles
7thcode is the publisher name used for software and documentation. The contracting provider for a product is the legal entity or individual identified in the applicable direct order, distribution-platform listing, or product-specific terms. This policy does not change that identity.
This policy explains how the applicable provider handles information through this site, support communications, products, and services. Third-party platform providers separately control information under their own agreements and privacy policies. A customer organization normally controls the information its users direct a product to process in its accounts, sites, or workspaces.
2. Website and support information
This policy site does not provide user accounts, advertising, or 7thcode-operated analytics. 7thcode does not intentionally use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. The website hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata, such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, and timestamps, to deliver, secure, and operate the site under its own terms.
When you contact support, we process the contact details, message, diagnostic identifiers, and other information you choose to provide to respond, investigate, secure the products, prevent abuse, and maintain a proportionate support record. Depending on the context, processing is necessary to perform a contract, comply with law, or pursue legitimate interests in support and security. Please do not send customer content, private identifiers, or credentials unless necessary and we have agreed on an appropriate method.
3. Products and distribution platforms
Each product accesses only the data and permissions described in its documentation and, where applicable, its distribution-platform listing. 7thcode does not sell End-User Data, disclose it to data brokers, or use it for targeted advertising. Product-specific hosting, retention, deletion, permission, and service-provider information takes precedence over a general description on this page.
4. Product data and processing
Depending on the product and the feature a user chooses, processing may include account or workspace identifiers, configuration, permissions, records or content selected by the user, diagnostic information, and operation results. This information is used only to provide the requested functionality, apply access controls, maintain reliability and integrity, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Where storage is necessary, products are designed to minimize retained information. Stored records may include settings, identifiers, mappings, state, timestamps, fingerprints, and safe error codes. Product documentation describes any additional categories, retention periods, deletion controls, or external connections. Credentials and unnecessary customer content should not be placed in operational logs or ordinary support records.
5. Sharing, transfers, and service providers
7thcode does not share product data with advertisers or data brokers. Depending on the product, hosting, distribution, identity, payment, website, or communication providers may process limited information needed to deliver the service. These providers may process data in locations permitted by their terms and applicable law. We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a lawful business transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
Product data follows each product’s stated retention and deletion rules. Support information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the request, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or a related dispute, and is then deleted or anonymized where reasonably practicable. Backup, platform recovery, and legal-hold copies may remain for a limited period under the relevant provider’s lifecycle.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. You may also contact the administrator of the account, site, or workspace that controls your user profile and content. We may verify a request proportionately, may need to preserve information required by law or security, and will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Security and policy changes
We use data minimization, access controls, content-minimized diagnostics, and security controls appropriate to each product. No system, transmission, or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure. See the Security Policy for reporting instructions. Material policy changes will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date and communicated where required.
